About Angela
I am passionate about this work and helping others because I believe that everything happens to us for a reason (if we so choose). Moving through my own unique life challenges has equipped me with incredibly transformative tools and expertise that I love sharing. I know how difficult it can be to reprogram our emotional, physical and mental patterns.
So many wonderful people and spaces have helped me along my healing journey, and I am committed to doing the same for others. Even though 'the work' of looking at ourselves can feel like an isolating, inward journey, at the end of the day, we all need support, belonging, community and Love around us. Let's walk each other home.

My Story
My parents are from Hong Kong, but I was born in the US and raised in New Zealand. I'm a so-called Third Culture Kid. I've lived in many places, including London, New York, Spain, Amsterdam and Boston. My homes are currently Cape Town, London and Hong Kong. I love places with wild, untamed nature and open, warm people.

I haven't always been able to hold space for and guide others the way that I do.
My parents weren't taught to regulate their emotions, and I experienced chronic physical abuse and neglect as a child. I was deeply impacted by this, yet I wasn't aware of my 'trauma' until my late 20s. Whilst on the outside, I was confident, achieved a lot, and lived my 'best life', I felt deeply lost and confused. I was depressed, dissociated and reactive, ruminating constantly and easily dysregulated. I couldn't hold down a job or a relationship. I was completely disconnected from my body and emotions. I carried a lifetime of unprocessed pain that I escaped from through novelty: travel, drugs, dating. I eventually ended up with a serious drug addiction, a failed marriage, a purposelessness in my corporate career, and an overwhelming feeling that had been there the whole time: I was fundamentally broken.

I had hit rock bottom, and didn't want to be here anymore. My construct of life fell apart...

Everything came to a head and my healing journey began. I began unpacking my past experiences and questioning the labels I was assigned, like C-PTSD, recurrent depression, BPD, and ADHD. I came off antidepressants and self-destructive coping mechanisms. I came to learn the beautiful person I really was outside of the diagnoses-prescription cycle: highly sensitive and neurodivergent, with unfelt emotions and a misaligned life. I spent years exploring myself through every healing modality under the sun. I sat with Master Plants. I trained in breathwork, somatics, bodywork, IFS parts work, circling, facilitating, energy healing and the list goes on. I learnt from Dr Joe Dispenza. I became a yoga teacher, driven by my love for meditation, asana and yoga philosophy. And in the process of becoming Whole, I fell in love with sharing the very things that transformed my life with others... helping people get in touch with their emotions and inner children, reclaim their nervous systems, unlock a sense of felt-safety, and stop living out of their heads. I am fascinated by the world of tantra, and one of my passions is couples work: polarity, intimacy and relationships. I often draw upon profound exercises from acting school to help others explore their bodies and inner lives. From plant medicine ceremonies, to trauma-informed somatic experiencing - I bring it all together in my work.
I'm not just here to hold space, I'm also here to help you DO. What matters more than 'knowing thyself' is actually taking the right steps needed to thrive! Putting the theory into practice. How do we actually self-soothe when the old patterns kick in, to reliably move from reacting to responding? How do we go beyond understanding to action, and actually architect our own identities and create the life we want? I'm grateful to draw from my training from the University Cambridge and as a management consultant to support others in cutting out the noise. Put clarity into motion.

If my story resonates with you and you're committed to doing the work, then please get in touch.
Let's organise a free call to get to know each other, because I believe it takes seeing and hearing a person to actually see if we're a match.
My Approach
I believe in grounded spirituality: being able to hold the mystical alongside the science. I believe in holistic measures: blending together Western psychology (Freud, Jung etc.), insights from ancient Eastern wisdom (e.g. Buddhism, Hinduism) and modern practices; body, mind and soul; being and doing. I am passionate about Transpersonal Psychology and the work of Stanislav Grof.
I strive to empower others on their own journeys of self-discovery, resilience, and inner harmony. I'm not the healer, I simply create the space for it to happen, and I share what I know. We are all sovereign and I don't believe in 'advice'. I help you dig deeper and feel it all, to find your own answers. There is no 'right way', only the perfectly unique path meant for you.

Healing happens the moment we realise it didn't happen to us, but for us
